The tip floats extremely high due to Rio's proprietary SFT- Super Floatation Technology- manufacturing process, while the entire line is made with Rio's patent pending AgentX undercoat that ensures a high floating and super smooth line. Rio's new XS Technology produeces an extraordinarily slick, dirt-repelling coating that keeps the line clean and results in far reaching casts. Rio has included a welded loop on the front end of the weight foward line to facilitate changing leaders, which can be cut off without compromising the taper.
