Fly Fishing Winter Get Away 

With the memories of "Wild Trout" rising to large dry flies still fresh in my mind, I realize that another season of Argentina fishing is behind me and the summer season of Montana trout season is rapidly approaching.  I cannot delay in telling you about how great the 2013 trips were in Argentina. Everything went very smoothly, with no air port closures, no volcanic eruptions, great weather and water conditions. The hatches were more prolific than I had ever seen in Argentina. Lots of small mayflies and caddis on the water most days, that got the fish looking up. The biggest fish was a beautiful 27" brown caught on a dry. These rivers have an abundant population of 15-20 inch rainbows and brown, that keep the action on big dries steady though out most days. Somedays we did have to go down for them with nymphs and streamers. Our friends and guests are all raving about what a great time they had this year and booking for next year.  In 2014 we hope you can join our winter fly fishing trip’s to Argentina.  The partnership between The Bozeman Angler and Rio Dorado Lodge has proven to be a perfect fit. Juan and Matilde Sacconi work extremely hard to make sure your Argentine Adventure is the very best possible. Our number one goal is to show you the best fly fishing in Patagonia. Beyond that, we want to make sure that you do not miss getting to experience the Argentine people, customs, food, wine and the loving family life they enjoy.   To accomplish this we dine out at several different restaurants during the week. This gives you the opportunity to meet the local people and take in the sights that are often missed at one of the exclusive lodge settings.

$3195.00 per person

 (Based on double occupancy)

•  Six days fishing with the area’s best bilingual guides, fishing licenses and transportation to and from the river
