Have you ever wanted to chase wild steelhead? Now is your chance... Bozeman Angler owner Rod King is hosting a trip to Washington's Olympic Peninsula this coming April. He current has two spots left for his trip, and is looking to fill them soon!
The Olympic Peninsula has some of the most famous and storied waters in Steelhead history. You'll be fishing the Sol Duc, Hoh, Bogachiel, and others that have historically held some amazing wild fish. The trip takes place in April, right when the bulk of the wild fish are moving into the rivers. The scenery is spectacular and Seattle and all it offers is only a few hours away.
Steelhead are a unique challenge in the fly fishing world. They grow big and strong, and will give an angler a fight they won't soon forget. Being able to connect with a fish that takes such an amazing journey is really something that no other angling experience can offer. The fishing can be tough, but that just makes you appreciate and enjoy each and every fish that much more.
As you can see from the picture, the fishing was pretty good last year...
