The Bozeman Angler is going to be starting our fly tying classes this January. A Beginner Class will take place on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm. The dates for this class will be Jan. 7, Jan. 14, Jan. 21, and Jan. 28. All tools and materials are included. It costs just $50 for all four weeks. You can either stop in the shop to sign up, or give us a call at 406.587.9111. We’ve already filled half the class, so reserve your spot now!
The Beginner Class is a great way to get into to fly tying if you have never tried it. We’ll be going over everything from tools, techniques, different materials and how to use them, and tying some of the patterns that are very effective for this area. Some of the flies we’ll teach you to tie are the Wooly Bugger, Hare’s Ear, Elk Hair Caddis, San Juan Worm, Pheasant Tail, and more!
As an added incentive, all our students will receive 10% off tying tools and materials during the course of the class.
Coming up in February we’ll be offering an Intermediate Class as well. Stay tuned for more details on that one!
