Fly tying is a great way to stay connected to your fishing passion during the cold winter months and a great advancement in your world of angling skills. On top of all that it's just really fun and a lot easier than you might think. We are offering a few options to get you spinning hackles in the right direction.
FLY TYING 101 CLASS:
An introduction to tying covering all the basics on tools, materials, and techniques designed for those that are mostly new to fly tying. All the info needed to get tying your basic nymphs, streamers, and dry flies. Class meets once a week for four weeks from 7-9pm on thursday nights starting Jan. 7th
Cost is $50 per person with all materials, tools, and printed handouts provided

INTERMEDIATE FLY TYING CLASS:
Picks up where we left off with the 101 class and expands on techniques, tools, and materials and explores slightly more difficult fly patterns. Class meets once a week for four weeks from 7-9pm on thursday nights starting Feb. 4th. This is designed for those with a basic knowledge of tying and want to further hone their skills. Where things get big and ugly and really fun the Streamer class is back by popular demand and will cover techniques for tying articulated baitfish patterns, swing flies, small streamers and discussions on how to effectively fish them! We usually schedule this one after the intermediate class but may offer and earlier one as well. We will keep you posted on dates.

All students will receive a 10% discount on all tying materials & tools during the time period of the class.
OPEN FLY TYING NIGHT:
Free and open to the public this is our fun social tying night where we set up in the shop, tie flies and tell fishing stories! Bring your vise and materials and get some tied up to fill up the fly box. We like to rock out to loud music during tying night so expect some Sabbath. Thinking about getting this going Monday Jan. 4th @ 7pm and will continue every Monday til the days get longer and people start fishing more often in the evening time.
