Scratch'n my Bass itch

Last week my gal pal, Sarah and I headed south to Austin Texas for a long weekend of warm weather, BBQ, and a little Bass fishing.  My future Bro in law, Shelby, and I met up with Sarah's old friend and fishing guide, Alvan Dedeaux for a day on the San Marcos river. If you haven't had the opportunity to throw flies at Smallmouth Bass, you don't know what you're missing. When smallies are on the feed they readily come to the surface to explode on your fly and fight like hell when hooked. They're an incredible fish and a much needed change of pace for a guy that fishes year round for Trout.
